Kenwood Two Way Radio vs. Cell Phones

There are a number of benefits to using the Kenwood two way Radio rather than cell phones for business purposes.  Typically, these radios are used within a smaller area like a factory, or a manufacturing plant or a large retail store, etc... Having the ability to communicate over a large geographic area is not the purpose of the radios as it is with a cell phone.  Using two-way radios is much more convenient because you don't have to dial a number.  You simply set the radios up on the same channel, using the same code and all that is necessary to communicate is to push a button.  There are hands free devices that can even make pushing a button unneccessary.

The durability is a major benefit of the radios over cell phones also.  If the radios are dropped, typically there is not major damage, especially if you have the more durable models.  Radios have much better sound than a cell phone as well.  In an emergency you want to be able to be heard.

The radios are simply and purely a more reliable source of communicating when it really counts.  For short range business and industrial communications the Kenwood two way radio is the top of the line.
