Possible Uses

The main disadvantage over a cell phone is that you are restricted to about a 2 mile range with an frs 2 way radio, so its uses are limited. You may have connection problems depending on the terrain. Mountainous terrain may give you trouble connecting. In cities with tall buildings you could have difficulty also.

How to Operate the Radios

The frs 2 way radio is easy to operate. You put the batteries in, turn it on and set the two radios to the same channel and same code. Listen for other people using the same frequencies. Look for new channel and code until you find one that is not being used. Push the button to talk. When you are finished talking simply release the button to listen. If you continue to push the button, you will never be able to hear other people talking to you.
